Montrose Meats & Smokehouse attended the Victorian meat excellence awards on Saturday evening hosted by Australian Meat Industry Council - National
We are very pleased to announce that not only did we win a gold medal for our lamb, honey, mint and rosemary sausage but also took out the overall Victorian win in that category and got the trophy ! Onwards to the national title.

We are Super proud as only 9 of these big boy trophies were given out for the night and we were very honoured to receive one. This is the first award Matty has earned since taking control of Montrose meats and it feels amazing to display this trophy (and gold medal) on the counter for all to see. The first of many, so let’s get around him with the support and congratulations that he deserves

Today we say goodbye to this outstanding young man, Ely.

Ely started with us 4 years ago as our Saturday clean up guy whilst he completed his Batchelor of science degree majoring in Biotech.

Now he has completed his degree he is moving on to bigger and brighter things. During his time here he became much more than a clean up kid becoming an integral member of our team and our Christmas seasons.

Going to miss him dearly. Thank you so much for everything Ely!
