Another year, another bang! This year we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in the burger space
(All 3 stores combined)

HAVE YOU HEARD?

The team from are creating a pastry shop in store. Inspired by Mauritian sweets and desserts. A pastry shop like no other.

The son of two pastry chefs has convinced them to get out of retirement and join forces to create something special.

The pastry shop will consist of traditional Mauritian sweets with a touch of modern flavours. It will include your favourites like cookies, brownies, blondes, bars, donuts and some sweets left as a surprise. They will have your favourite fillings and toppings like Biscoff, pistachio, bueno and tropical ingredients like mango, lychee, pineapple also.

Launching before Christmas so keep an eye out. Turn on notifications. It’s gonna be a game changer. It’s even gonna go viral canteen. Australia’s first modern Mauritian pastry store.

The most recognised donut.

Who agrees? The pink glazed donut is one of the most iconic donuts in history. Also known as Homer Simpson’s favourite donut. You’d be baffled that some people don’t know this. Ask them next time.

That pink glazed donut with a touch of strawberry flavour and colourful sprinkles. Not only tastes good but also looks very appealing.

What do you think would come a close next? The cinnamon sugar or original glaze? We think cinnamon. Also a crowd favourite.

At the canteen we always have freshest and best donuts. All of our donuts are made daily. In house, from scratch. It is a 48 hr process from mix to fry. Lots of steps in between. Something that takes so long to make that can be consumed with only a few bites.

But it’s a worth it, it makes you happy, it brings joy and tastes amazing. We make an aerated dough, light and nice and fluffy and lots of holes. Our dough is malleable, like all donuts should be.

We then glaze it with a light strawberry glaze mixed with some white chocolate and sprinkles.

Come give it a try if you haven’t, come see why Homer made it famous.

WE’RE CURIOUS.

What recipes change daily? Well we know of one, bread.

So many factors and variables change daily when we make our burger buns. Room humidity, yeast activity, the season of butter and flour which impacts the dryness. But let’s not get technical. Some days are great, some days we don’t keep some batches.

The smallest of change can have a big impact on the final result. That result is only seen after 2 days of work. One day mixing and fermenting and one day of proofing and baking.

Burger buns are really underrated, for us, it is a very important component of our burgers. No preservatives are used so you don’t get that bloating feeling. What we like to mention is that burgers should not only be judged by its appearance and taste but also how you feel after.

So back to the question. What recipes change daily.. can you name anymore aside from baked goods? Beer?

FIND A SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM.

One of our most favourite and popular items on our past menu has always been fried chicken and waffles. Annoyingly we never had any cutlery with us when we were eating it on the run.

That’s what inspired this idea. Our take on the classic fried chicken and waffle. But in a donut

We jammed our signature fried chicken, doused it with hot butter honey glaze and put it in our big OG glazed donut ring. Yep it’s a thing. And taste like you imagined it would. Delicious.
And the best part is, you can eat it walking down the street or even driving..

we are always looking for creative things to bring to you. We just listen to what you want and we make it happen. Check out our pulled beef brisket cinnamon spiced donut!!! Another fan idea. It’s definitely a must try. Tastes like Christmas has come early.

We are launching a new fried chicken brand. Keep a lookout for some delicious eats, on the go snacks, it’s your ideas we just listened and made it happen.

Comment some of your own crazy ideas, maybe that will make it on the new fried chicken menu. Maybe we will even name it after you. And you know what that means. It’s always free.

GOT A BURGER TO GO WITH THAT SHAKE??

We sure do

As the weather is heating up why not treat yourself to a concrete shake! We do many flavours like your classics Nutella, Oreo, pb and jam just to name a few.

Mix it up mooners. Create your own custom one.. snickers, mars, cheesecake or Biscoff salted caramel. Whatever you like!! We do!

Wet your beak with a burger or two, we also customise burgers, big or small.

Pro tip. Instead of buying flavoured ice cream at the supermarket, get one of these, we even give you a spoon.
