What a beautiful Sunday for our High Tea event, even in the middle of winter.
Our café terrace was cosy with the fireplace and heaters on, while guests enjoyed handmade warm scones, sausage rolls, and vegetarian pastries, and all delicious sweets and sandwiches all while looking out over the Strathbogie ranges and our farm views.
We were delighted to welcome 43 guests across our morning and afternoon sessions.
A very special thank you to our loyal guests who have been supporting this event for the past three years. Your continued support means more to me than I can ever express.
It was also wonderful to see so many different people enjoying the day together. We welcomed guests from near and far — from local towns to Sydney. There were beautiful family gatherings with three and even four generations around the same table, as well as couples and friends catching up and enjoying time together. It was truly heartwarming to see.
It felt a little unusual to hold our Mother’s Day fundraiser in June rather than May, but two tables told us it worked perfectly because today was their mother’s birthday! What a lovely coincidence.
We are incredibly grateful to share that together we raised $1,256 for Thu’s family. Thank you so much for your generosity and support. It means so much to me personally, and I am deeply thankful that we can continue to help make a difference.
And to Thu, watching over us from above — thank you. I felt you with us today. It was a day filled with beautiful people, beautiful conversations, and so much kindness in this special place.
Thank you again to everyone who joined us. We would love to continue this tradition for many years to come.
