Pally Trial Farm Field Walk🌾

We welcomed growers, agronomists and industry partners to our Pallamallawa Trial Farm for a day of paddock conversations, shared learnings and a closer look at the work happening across our trials.

We heard directly from our trial partners about the products, practices and technologies being tested under real farming conditions, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, exchange ideas and discuss what these findings could mean for growers.

And for the first time, we brought live equipment demonstrations into the paddock! From emerging autonomous technology to practical machinery innovations, it was an opportunity to see these technologies in action and explore how they could help shape the future of farming.

At Boolah, we believe progress comes from collaboration, testing ideas on the ground and working alongside industry to turn innovation into practical outcomes.

A huge thank you to our trial partners, machinery partners and everyone who joined us at Pally. We’re proud of what we’re building together and look forward to sharing more as our trials continue.

Today we celebrate the ladies!

Today we’re celebrating the versatility and strength of our Boolah ladies!💚

From the paddock to the office, the Grainsite to our field days and everything in between - our women wear many hats and take it all in their stride.

They’re hardworking, resilient, funny, supportive, involved in their communities and are an absolute backbone of rural life and our Boolah team.🤎

Today we celebrate the women who make Boolah what it is. We are lucky to have you!🍀

Would you change something on your farm based on what you saw here?

That’s ultimately the question behind the work happening at the Boolah Trial Farm.

At Wilkur, growers weren’t just shown what was being trialled. They could ask question of the people and teams behind the work about inputs, application, observations, costs, results and how the same approach might perform under different conditions.

Those conversations matter because there’s a big gap between something looking promising and a grower being confident enough to change the way they farm.

Commercial-scale trials help make that gap a little smaller.🌾

There were plenty of popular stops at the 2026 Field Day, but this one gave our trial plots some serious competition ☕🌾

With 300+ growers and industry reps at Wilkur, our coffee van was kept busy all day, fuelling plenty of conversations around margins 🙋‍♀️

A big thanks to our Field Day Coffee Partner, Achmea, for keeping the coffee flowing and giving everyone a welcome spot to stop, catch up and compare notes✌️

Day one of harvest in the north done! 🌾

See what everyone got up to around the grounds today > From finishing cotton in the south, to office work for the admin team, we did it all! Thanks to the crew from down south who drove up to support the northern team race the rain and start to get some of the barley off 💪

Let’s see how long the rain can hold off 🌧️

Before we headed into the paddock, 150 guests came together to share in where Boolah has come from and where it’s heading next. 🌾

Our VIP Evening brought together growers, trial partners, supporters and industry for a night centred on the relationships, ideas and shared vision behind the Trial Farm and its future.

We were pleased to hear from our VIP Evening Platinum Partner, Loam Bio, with Chief Operating Officer Robbie Oppenheimer. Throughout our time in VIC, the Loam Bio team talked us through their CarbonBuilder™ trial and its potential to build soil carbon while supporting productivity, nutrient-use efficiency and farm margin. 🌱

Last week we brought the Boolah team together for our inaugural Staff Days, ahead of the Northern Field Walk.🌾

With team members from Melbourne to Eumundi and everywhere in between, it’s not often we’re all in the same place — so we made the most of it!

From future business planning and harvest discussions, to a BBQ breakfast, Boolah trivia, magic tricks and the ultimate Boolah Farmathlon 🏆, there was plenty of teamwork, competition and, most importantly, plenty of laughs.

We also spent time talking about our Regen4Real sustainability program before heading out to Popinguy to walk through the trial site and prepare for the Northern Field Walk.

A huge thank you to our northern and southern ground crews for helping with equipment demonstrations and getting the BBQ lunch sorted on the day.

We’re incredibly proud of the team we have at Boolah and the direction we’re heading. The connection, knowledge and good humour across our team is something we truly value.
