At Boolah workplace health and safety is extremely important. Over the last few weeks, both teams in the North and South completed their CPR training. While it was a bit of fun, we are glad to be reminded of the skills required in emergencies and in everyday work life💪🩹⛑️

Yesterday the girls took on Gunnedah to attend the Women in Ag Safety Workshop.💚

The workshop provided some very relevant info and resources, ranging from risk assessments in the workplace to psychosocial hazards and mental health awareness.

At Boolah workplace health and safety is extremely important and we were glad members of our team could attend.

Big news for 2026 🌾

The Boolah Trial Farm Field Day is heading to Victoria in 2026, with Boolah’s newest Trial Farm set to host the annual event in Warracknabeal on 10 September. 🌱

This year’s theme, Margin Matters, speaks directly to what so many across agriculture are feeling right now.

With rising input costs, tighter returns, changing market conditions and increasing pressure across the supply chain, the conversation around profitability has never been more important.

This Field Day will bring together growers, agronomists, advisers, researchers, supply chain partners and end users for a day of practical insight, valuable connection and real-world discussion.

🌱 Margin Matters

For those travelling from NSW to Victoria for the Field Day, Boolah is planning a hosted four-night tour from Pallamallawa, taking in the BCG Field Day on 9 September, the Boolah Trial Farm Field Day on 10 September, and other relevant stops along the way. Expressions of interest are open, and places are limited.🚌

If you’re in NSW, the Trial Farm site at Pallamallawa will open its gates to the Dimboola and Popinguy farms on Wednesday 30 September for a Trial Farm Walk.👩‍🌾

In place of a NSW Field Day this year, the walk will give attendees the opportunity to explore the trials on the ground, connect with trial farm participants, and hear about the latest research and discoveries. 🌱

A few weeks ago the Boolah team were welcomed to the BOSS Agriculture manufacturing facility in Inverell.

The team were talked through the process of making both a planter and seed cart - they were even lucky enough to see the Trial Farm planter being crafted.

It was a full circle moment when that planter then arrived earlier this week - we look forward to exploring all that this piece of machinery has to offer over the coming sowing season! 🌱
