We got involved in the Citizen Scientist Bat Monitoring over Christmas and these were our results. We set up 3 sound monitors 1. House 2. Dam 3. Sand Hollow Track....sadly the sand hollow monitor malfunctioned but still amazing. I had no idea there were so many different bats.

Sorry I tried to edit post and respond to comments and lost the lot!! I thought this was a marsupial due to the way it hopped away, rather like a kangaroo on it's haunches. But it certainly wasn't sick....photos taken some distance away and when I tried to move closer it took off very quickly....no chance to kill this little blighter, mouse or otherwise.
