After 42 years of serving our much loved community, Mortdale Fruit Box Market will close our current retail store at the end of March.

Since 1984, our family business has proudly served Mortdale and surrounding suburbs, growing over the years into a trusted local destination, known for our excellent fresh produce and wide range of specialty foods. Despite our best efforts, continuing at this location is no longer viable, and we will be closing our current retail store at the end of March.

We love Mortdale - our home, our heart and our story. Mortdale has a wonderful community, and your unwavering support of local businesses means the world to us. We want you to keep supporting the butcher and bakers, the pharmacies and optometrist, the cafes and restaurants, the hairdressers and the barber, and all the other small, local businesses that make Mortdale unique. You have the power to keep the soul of Mortdale alive.

While this chapter is coming to an end, we are not giving up.Our nearby warehouse at 22A Cook Lane, Mortdale, remains fully operational. We will continue trading indefinitely through our Online Store, offering Click & Collect and Delivery services.

We are excited to announce that in early 2027, Mortdale Fruit Box Market will be moving into a huge, new home in Mortdale. We have huge plans to create a destination that will become an even greater local icon than ever before.Built by family, powered by our community, and forged through decades of dedication and hard work, we’re unstoppable as we enter our next chapter, and are ready to define a new standard.
