Our journey to discover great wines from around the world continues — this time, we’ve added a fantastic Portuguese red to our collection.

It’s easy to see why James Suckling awarded it 93 points. An outstanding value-for-money wine that truly overdelivers for its price.

Manoella Douro 2023 🇵🇹

Bright aromas of raspberry, red cherry and a touch of spice, with subtle herbal notes in the background.

On the palate, it’s light to medium-bodied, fresh and beautifully balanced. The tannins are noticeable on entry but soften quickly, giving the wine structure without being drying. A medium-long finish leaves a clean and elegant impression.

If you’re looking to explore Portuguese wines, this is a fantastic place to start.
