It matters not where they go, our cattle are nothing if not consistent. These cows went to Murgon today as part of our downsizing and bettered by 2 cents per kilo the last lot through Gympie. 396.2cents/kilo to return $2368ex.

REGISTERED CHARBRAY COWS
Having spent more than 30 years putting this group together it is now very hard to offer them for sale. However, the loss of a lease, and work taking over, we need to cut back. We have retained the nucleus of our favourites for James to continue on, but we just can't keep them all. Those that have been inconsistent in breeding, or just plain problems, will be off to a Brazillian buyer. Those listed below will be available by negotiation. They have come off a pretty wet paddock so are not necessarily looking their best. Cows range from 3 to 10 years and calves newborn to 4 months and have been depastured with Marlegoo Sargent. Most cows are polled or scurred, as are the calves. Cow registration details and calf sire below each pic. They come with our full guarantee.

UPDATE: Sisters of these cows have topped the Gympie Sale today at 394.2cents/kilo, weighing 657kg and returning $2591/head.

Now everyone can afford just a little more for the good ones. This fella topped the market at Gympie on Monday and is off to his new Brazillian home.

5 years ago one of my first real estate sales was Kandanga Homestead. It came complete with a herd of Sahiwal females. The young couple and 2 girls at the time wanted a cheap bull. I loaned them this son of Marlegoo Jaguar and 5 years later he returns, twice as heavy having done a sterling job.
