We’ve decided it’s time to go back to where it all began...🥹

Before the food truck, before the weddings, before the cellar door and laksa obsession, Messy Fingers started as a little grazing box business! It gave me the opportunity to raise my tiny people while spending my days creating beautiful boxes and delivering them all over the Northern Territory ❤️

My love for grazing has never disappeared and after plenty of requests, we’ve decided to bring them back!

🍜 LAKSA SPOTLIGHT 🍜
If you’ve ever lived in Darwin, visited Darwin, or know someone from Darwin, chances are you’ve heard people rave about Laksa!

For us, it was a year-round obsession in the NT, so we were so excited to bring a little taste of that tropical comfort to Mount Barker!

So, what exactly is a Laksa?

Think of it as a big, warm hug in a bowl🤍
Our Laksa starts with a rich, creamy coconut broth, filled with vermicelli noodles, fresh herbs, bok choy, tofu or marinated chicken along with a tea egg! It’s soulful, filling, comforting, and guaranteed to warm you from the inside out!

One thing we hear all the time is:
“I’m worried it might be too spicy!”

Good news! Our Laksa isn’t spicy unless you want it to be! We serve it mild and full of flavour, with chilli available for those who like a little extra kick!

Pair it with a glass of West Cape Howe Grenache, settle in by the fire, and let the warmth work its magic🔥🍷

We’ve been told our Laksa is “a hug in the tummy” and honestly...we couldn’t think of a better description ourselves 🫶🏽

P.S - this bowl of deliciousness is Gluten Free, may cause spontaneous happiness, rosy cheeks and the overwhelming urge to order Laksa every week! 🤣🍜
