There is magic in the air today. I’m sipping from Cask 51, which I emptied yesterday - a 6 yo 220 L ex- McWilliams apera cask. A sherry bomb, and exquisite at 61% abv. Notes of dark chocolate and candied orange. I’m now refilling this cask. It’s Cask 151, so 100 casks filled since then. I’m rewarded with the last part of the fill highlighting laminar flow. Wh**ky - where magic and science meet.

Great to have another gold, this time for our Shaman batch 2. A couple of Silver Medals too, so feeling chuffed.
