Stonehenge Farm

Stonehenge Farm Nestled in the heart of Victoria, we’re home to Highland cattle, Valais Blacknose sheep, pygmy goats, miniature pigs, and donkeys.

We’re passionate about ethical farming and love sharing life on the farm through tours and events.

We’ve started bringing Elsa into the house yard, and it’s safe to say she’s more puppy dog than Highland calf!
She loves zooming around the yard, exploring every corner, and happily following us wherever we go. If we stop, she stops. If we walk, she walks. She’s convinced she’s part of the family!
We think our tour groups today had just as much fun meeting Elsa as she had meeting them. She’s certainly winning hearts everywhere she goes.

Welcome to the farm…Elsa! She is the absolute sweetest. We can’t wait to get back to tours (as soon as I’ve got my school reports written). I promise I am doing my best - not long now

Weaning time on the farm
Our Highland calves are starting an important new chapter as we prepare them for their future homes. Along with weaning, we’re spending lots of time helping them become confident and comfortable around people.
Using show sticks, gentle handling and plenty of patience, the calves are learning to trust human interaction. Next comes one of their favourite parts… getting used to the brush scratches and pampering!
These early experiences help create calm, friendly and well-adjusted cattle, ready to settle beautifully into their new families and farms.
We’re so proud of how these little ones are growing

Today we celebrate all the different kinds of mums and all the love, strength and sacrifice that comes with motherhood 💛

To the mums with little hands wrapped around their legs, the mums who spend their days caring for others before themselves, the grandmas, stepmums, foster mums, aunties and mother figures who love so deeply and so selflessly - thank you.

To the mums carrying babies, raising babies, missing babies, longing for babies, or holding memories quietly in their hearts today - this day belongs to you too.

Out here on the farm, we are reminded every single day just how instinctive and powerful a mother’s love really is. We see it in our Highland mums standing protectively beside their calves, in the gentle calls between ewes and lambs, and in the quiet way mothers always seem to know exactly what their babies need.

Motherhood is often unseen. It’s the early mornings, the sleepless nights, the worrying, the comforting, the endless giving of yourself even when you are exhausted. It’s showing up every day with love, even on the hard days.

So today, we simply want to say thank you.

Thank you for the hugs, the patience, the fierce protection, the gentle encouragement and the unconditional love that shapes lives in the most beautiful ways.

From our farm family to yours, Happy Mother’s Day!

We need your help as STONEHENGE FARM (and so many of our friends and neighbours) are going to be impacted by this!

Stand with regional landholders!

This isn’t just about one property — it’s about protecting regional communities, farming families and the future of food and fibre production in Victoria.

The Victorian Government has already changed legislation on four separate occasions to give multinational companies increased powers for compulsory acquisition and compulsory land access. Now rural landholders are being asked to sacrifice productive farmland once again.

We are calling on the Victorian Government to REJECT AusNet’s application for compulsory acquisition powers.

Our farms are more than paddocks on a map — they are homes, livelihoods, businesses and generations of hard work.

Here’s how you can help:
✔️ Comment to help boost awareness
✔️ Contact your local MP
✔️ Speak up for regional communities
✔️ Support local farming families and businesses

Together, our voices are stronger. Protect our land. Protect our future.

Stunning Highland Steers Available

We have two absolutely beautiful Highland steers looking for their next home — and they truly are something special.

From day one of weaning they have been confidently eating out of our hands, and they are now quiet, friendly, and a pleasure to be around. They can be hand-fed and happily brushed all over, making them ideal for anyone wanting calm, interactive cattle.

With their gorgeous Highland features and gentle temperaments, they would make fantastic pets, paddock companions, or additions to a hobby farm.

✔️ Well handled and quiet
✔️ Used to people and daily interaction
✔️ Great temperaments
✔️ Healthy and thriving

They are ready to move on to a home where they’ll continue to be loved and enjoyed.

It’s that time of year again - school reports and parent interviews are soon to be in full swing! Because of this, we’ll be taking a short break from our regular group farm tours after this weekend.
We’ll still be offering a limited number of group tours throughout winter, when the Highlands are truly in their element (and yes, you can expect some very authentic “Scottish” weather!).
In the meantime, Brad will be running a small number of private tours. Spots will be limited, so be sure to get in quickly to secure a booking.
