Today is R U OK? Day.

Transport can be a lonely job. Long hours on the road, early starts, time away from family. It's easy for someone to be doing it tough without anyone noticing.

We want everyone to know: it's okay to not be okay, and it's okay to ask for help.

So today, take a moment. Check in with a mate, a colleague, or someone in your crew. Ask "R U OK?" and really listen to the answer.

A conversation costs nothing, but it can mean everything.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Paul Marshall, a much-loved member of our team. Paul brought warmth, dedication, and a smile to work every day, and he will be deeply missed by all of us.

Our thoughts are with Carol, Aimee, Heath, and the entire Marshall family during this incredibly difficult time.

A Celebration of Paul's life will be held in the Carinya Chapel at the Mount Gambier Crematorium Complex on Wednesday, 29th July at 1pm.

Rest peacefully, Paul. You will always be remembered.

🐨 We don’t usually encourage picking up hitchhikers in our trucks… but this little bloke somehow managed to catch a lift!

Doug jumped out of his truck one evening to find this cute little passenger wandering across the top of the trailer. Considering koala claws aren’t exactly designed for climbing aluminium trailers, we’re still not quite sure how he got there.

Thankfully, Doug was able to carefully guide him into a loader bucket and safely return him to a nearby tree where he belonged.

Just goes to show… at Glenara, we really will cart just about anything!

Have a great weekend everyone, stay warm, stay dry, and keep an eye out for unexpected passengers! 🐨

Our thoughts are with everyone across Victoria who has been affected by the current bushfires. If any of our customers are impacted or experiencing disruptions, we are here to support where we can.

We know this is an incredibly difficult time for many families, communities, and businesses.

Please stay safe, follow advice from emergency services, and look after one another.
