We thank you for all of your kind and caring messages over the last few days during the local fires - which are still currently burning, uncontrolled.
Fortunately, our farm hasnโt been affected although we are on alert, prepared and watching.
What we want to say is the community spirit during this time was just incredible, first time weโve seen such team effort. Not only the outstanding work by the CFS near and far but all the people behind the scenes - local farmers loading up their fire trailers to head out and fight the fires, local business and donating food, drinks and their facilities, so many local residents offering the use of their land and cars/trailers for stock transport. Farmer Wez was out there helping out with our fire trailer as best he could.
We feel for the locals who have lost scrub and structures on their properties.
We feel for the wildlife who have suffered and the stress on local farmers.
