What a fantastic week at the 2026 Australia supreme !!!
Week started in the let out for a couple of days, letting out for the big guns and the 1st afternoon of the open.
Millie ran Kia-ora in the open , with a good solid run but couldn't get the tuff sheep to look up the bridge.
Millie then set about judging the novice competition 169 dogs and a 7 dog final over 4 days.
She did a fantastic job and loved every minute of it. I think she's just awesome ###
At the end of that she ran Murphy who had absolutely no luck with the sheep and retired.
For me Chippo ran and tried her heart out for me with us retiring at the bridge unable to move the sheep up the ramp.
Really happy with her work and effort.
Knox had a fantastic week exceeding all expectations !!!
A solid run in the round with and excellent cast lift and Draw and fantastic work between the bridge and the pen to get us home.
This got us in the top 20 run off.
In the top 20 Knox did another brillant cast and battled away for the full 15 minutes to time out on the bridge. I was very proud of his effort and work and we did enough to get us in the top 10 final in 7th place.
Another awesome cast on some really tuff sheep he had to cover a lot of ground to force our way around to the bridge.
Top work between the gap and the race gave us enough points to hang on to 7th place.
Super proud of this boy who even when he was hot tired and under pressure manage to slow down and make some really good decisions.
And to top it all off Knox won the Cast Lift and Draw for the open/improver, which was a fantastic surprise !!!
Woohoo !!! 7th in the top 10 at the Australian surpreme really still can't believe it, both Knox and my first open final and its a Doosey !!!
