Our last day serving food at Tarcoola Takeaway before we hand the reins over later this week.
We’re doing the final cook‑up, pretending we’re not emotional, and trying not to cry.
Over the years we’ve had some absolute legends working beside us — staff who kept the place running, kept us laughing, and kept the chaos under control.
And our kids… well, they’ve been roped in more times than they’d probably like to admit. From the renovation, covering shifts, clean‑ups, emergency shop runs and everything in between, we couldn’t have done any of this without their endless help.
It’s been a wild, wonderful ride full of hard work, heart, and a whole lot of memories.

Quick update, legends 🤘 Tarcoola Takeaway has been sold but will keep on trading as Tarcoola Takeaway.
Our last day will be Sunday, 4th October.
We just want to say a massive thank you for all the support, yarns, laughs and loyalty over the years. It’s been an absolute ripper being part of this community.
If you want to swing past and say goodbye, we’d love to see you and finish things off properly ❤️ Mick and Cas
