⭐️Semen straws available! Greenwood Headliner 71H straws on sale as we clear the tank in our reduction process⭐️

Greenwood Headliner was purchased out of the paddock by Colgan’s Cattle Company Corp. Being the incredible bull that he was, Greenwood Speckle Park kept 50% rights to him. Colgan’s went on to show him in the ring where he was awarded:
⭐️2020 Stockade Roundup Grand Champion Speckle Park Bull
⭐️2020 Stockade Roundup King of the Ring Speckle Park Champion
⭐️2020 Stockade Roundup Supreme ‘Top 4’
⭐️2021 Farmfair International Junior Champion Bull.

After an unfortunate accident, Headliner 71H is no longer with us, the straws that are left in our tank is all that we have in Australia. As the semen rights are owned by us at Beth Vide Speckle Park, this is your opportunity to get access to him now!

We have used Headliner extensively in our program, and have been extremely impressed by the progeny we have. His females are feminine and deep. We can pick a Headliner bull from a distance, deep and thick calves 💪.

Across other programs, throughout Australia, we are seeing some lovely calves coming through. (If you have some, drop some pics 👇 in the comments! We love to see them)
In Canada, he has also bred some show winning calves, Greenwood Kobra 3K and Colgan’s Kingsman 01K to name a couple.

Contact us if you would like access to these straws to use in your own programs.

With family needing to take our full focus for the next little while, we are looking to reduce our numbers in the immediate future.

Most of the females we are selling are in our keeper pen, but with minimal rain and acreage, they must be moved on.
The bulls being offered were destined to commercial buyers at auction, however we need to move them on sooner.

We are open for inspection by appointment from 28th Jan- 13th Feb, at which time our stock will be moved on by our agent. All enquires welcome. Please contact us for prices and a list of stock available.

We will always champion the Speckle Park breed, as we quietly hold our remaining stock for a time when we will rebuild. Our continued efforts will be breeding a small number each year for own herd. And filling the freezer with our crossbred delicious beef.

If you haven’t tried Speckle Park infused beef- ASK for it at your local butcher! There are many around here in QLD that specifically love our breed, and it will be more readily available as the breed grows.
If you live in SE Qld- contact us! We have consistent access to Speckle Park, quality meat boxes- you won’t go back once you have tried it direct from the producer.

Thank you to our valuable clients and friends who have continually supported us at Beth Vide Speckle Park.

“Queensland: Beautiful one day, perfect the next!”
Gosh, it can be harsh up here in Queensland. But the sunset today certainly reminded me of the old tourism campaign about it being a beautiful place to be up here!

Oaten hay in the shed again! There seems to be a pattern though 🤔. Forecast rain on the day it’s baled (every year!). Baled yesterday morning and in the shed by nightfall. A sprinkle of rain on the windscreen as I loaded the last bale 😮‍💨.

We have always relied on our own oaten hay for our donors. We usually get great results with the donors and an integral part of our program is using own hay. In the last flush program our 2 donors gave us 41 embryos!

This year these bales will be treated like gold! Having the bale/acre dramatically reduce this year due to very limited rainfall since planting.

The sprinkle of rain yesterday only ended up as 5mm, but we’ll take it 🌧️😊
