Family Farm Visit Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and entry
All visits must be booked in advance unless otherwise agreed by the farm. Entry may be refused to anyone who arrives without a booking, provides false information, or does not follow these terms.
2. Working farm acknowledgement
Visitors understand that the property is a working farm and may contain uneven ground, animals, machinery, fences, dams, ponds, chemicals, and other hazards. Entry is at the visitor’s own risk.
3. Supervision of children
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. The farm is not responsible for supervising children or minors during the visit.
4. Animal contact
Visitors must only approach, touch, feed, or interact with animals when permitted by farm staff. No chasing, teasing, poking, or feeding animals outside approved instructions.
5. Clothing and footwear
Enclosed footwear must be worn at all times. Visitors should wear practical clothing suitable for a farm environment, including weather-appropriate attire.
6. Photography and media
Personal photography is permitted only where it does not interfere with farm operations, privacy, or animal welfare. Commercial photography or filming requires prior written consent.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the farm is not liable for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the visit, except where caused by the farm’s negligence or unlawful conduct.
8. Wildlife and snakes
Visitors acknowledge that snakes and other wildlife may be present on the property, especially in grass, sheds, creek lines, fence lines, and shaded areas. Visitors must stay on designated paths where possible, remain alert, and immediately notify farm staff if a snake or other վտանգous wildlife is seen. Do not approach, provoke, attempt to move, or kill any snake.
9. Produce and harvesting
Visitors must not pick, harvest, remove, damage, or consume any vegetables, fruit, herbs, flowers, or other produce without the farm owner’s or staff’s express permission. Unauthorized picking or removal of produce may result in immediate removal from the property and may be charged as damage or loss.
10. Acceptance of terms
By entering the property, each visitor confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
