Just a reminder that you can find us next weekend at one of Sydney’s favourites, The Pyrmont Festival. The Food & Wine section runs from 11am to 5pm across both Saturday 23rd & Sunday the 24th. There’s always a big turnout, but make sure you pop in, say hi, and enjoy a tasting or two of our premium Italian varietal range! It’d be nice to catch up…

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗣𝘆𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹

It’s that time of year again when we make our annual pilgrimage to Sydney’s much loved Pyrmont Festival. As always, it’s a free event and will be held at Pirrama Park on the 23rd and 24th of May. With live music, boutique breweries, plenty of food options and some of NSW’ finest wines available, of which we’re one of, it’ll be event not to be missed, so hope to see you there!

𝗔𝗡𝗭𝗔𝗖 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗴𝗲

As usual, our Cellar Door will be open all ANZAC Weekend, but won’t be open till midday (12.00) on Saturday the 25th as a mark of respect.

If you happen to be in near Mudgee over the long weekend, make sure you stop at one of Mudgee’s ‘must do’ vineyard experiences, and come to First Ridge for a classic Italian varietal tasting!

Why not, join us for a tasting this weekend at Zig Zag Brewery & Taproom at the Foundations in Portland, near Lithgow. We’ll be the right across the weekend and there’ll be some excellent beers too, and if you’re looking for something else to do, you can always check out Ironfest, which is also being held at The Foundations over the weekend.

To all of our Barbera fans, you’ll be pleased to know that you’re certainly not alone, as the team at ‘The Real Review’ have just scored it a rating of no less than 92 and 4 Stars. It was also ranked 8th out of 17 2023 Australian Barbera’s, so if you haven’t got on board with First Ridge Barbera just yet, it might time to give it a try…

On Sunday 1st of March we’ll be returning to the much loved ‘Sparkling Wahroonga Food & Wine Festival’. With no less than 30 NSW vineyards, small batch distillers, craft brews, and gourmet foods in attendance, if you’re in Sydney, this is one not to miss!
