September is officially here, which means Mudgee W**e + Food Festival by Mudgee W**e Association is now underway. 🍷

First up is Go Tasting this Friday — with the Mudgee W**e Show judging wrapping up this week you’ll get to try more than 200 Mudgee w**es under one roof. Taste your way around the region, meet the makers and get in early to take home a case (or two) of award-winning Mudgee w**es at Dan Murphy’s pricing.

Then there’s something brand new this year: The Sustainable Table. A long-table dinner at Logan W**es W**es bringing together six local Sustainable W**e Australia producers, a three-course menu by Rebecca Sutton and matched Mudgee w**es. We’re pretty excited to be part of this one — a new addition to the Festival calendar and a very good excuse for dinner somewhere special. Saturday 12 September, $145pp.

Twilight Tasting is on Friday 11 & 18 September, right in the centre of town at St Johns Church Grounds. Fresh out of the car? You can pretty much jump straight into w**e tasting. Grab a glass, discover a few local producers and have a pre-dinner drink before exploring Mudgee’s nearby food scene (You can pick up the car in the morning).

And of course, it all builds to the big one — Flavours of Mudgee on Saturday 26 September. The headline event of the Festival and one of the best nights of the year in Mudgee, with the town centre taken over by local w**e, food and producers. Head to Flavours of Mudgee for tickets.

Our 2026 Albariño has just picked up Gold + 95 points at the Sydney Royal W**e Show — a pretty lovely way to welcome a brand new release 🥇.

It’s also picked up Gold at the Australian Single Vineyard W**e Show, which is a bit of a treat.

Fresh, bright and dangerously easy to drink - it was built for seafood and sunny days ☀️. If Albariño is your thing, now’s a pretty good time to stock up.

Say hello to Mudgee W**e + Food Festival’s newest addition - The Sustainable Table.

On Saturday 12th September, six Mudgee w**eries are joining forces at Logan W**es for a long-table dinner built around great local food, thoughtfully produced (and delicious!) w**e, and a few stories from the people behind it.

Rebecca Sutton will serve a three-course seasonal menu, matched with w**es from each of the six Sustainable W**e Australia producers - including a few of our own.

We’ll chat a little about what sustainability looks like in our vineyards, but promise to keep the song and dance to a minimum — we’ll leave that to the guests🕺🏻.

We’re back open from 11am tomorrow, then right through until Sunday arvo.

Joining us this Saturday and Sunday is Alejandro’s Authentic Italian food truck, serving up delicious Italian food. Please note, our usual menu won’t be available while they’re here.

If you haven’t picked up a bottle of our newly released 2026 Riesling or Albariño yet, this is the perfect weekend to do so. Or, if you’re chasing something to warm you up, we’ve got plenty of reds waiting too.

We’re open all long weekend, with a few small tweaks to our usual hours:

CELLAR DOOR
• Friday to Sunday: 11am – 5:30pm
• Monday: 11am – 2pm

W**E TASTINGS
Available until 3pm daily (1pm Monday). Bookings essential. After this we ease into a more relaxed w**e bar vibe with drinks by the glass/bottle only.

DRINKS + W**E BY THE GLASS
Available all day. Bookings highly recommended.
Walk-ins welcome but best to BYO rug as seating is limited and priority will go to those who book ahead.

We’re open until 2pm today for those needing a little R&R after a big weekend. Walk-ins welcome today 🍷.

We’ll be open all weekend from 11am, including Monday.

For those planning to visit, w**e tastings and reserved seating (those have a bite to eat and glass of w**e) must be booked ahead, and seating will be prioritised for booked guests.

Walk-ins are still very welcome all day but best to bring a rug to roll out on the lawn.

From 3pm, we’ll be rolling into w**e bar mode — no tastings after then, just bottles, glasses, a spot by the fire pit for a slower end to your arvo.

We’re excited to have .auth with us Saturday & Sunday from 11am-4pm as well.
