Picked at 3am this morning and in the bottle by 10am…..

Local. Seasonal. Fresh.

Rosie has been like an overdue baby. The first juice harvested from Skimstone started to wild ferment itself. Great if you are making wine but not great if you are making cordial.

Thanks to our ‘village’, Will Gilbert of Gilbert Family Wines has worn the hero’s cape today and provided us some of their Sangiovese Rosé juice. Still from Apple Tree Flat. This is now ‘Rosie - the neighbour’.

LOLA is still hot from the pot and being sent out to our local and on line clients. Thanks to the most fantabulous cherries from and some roadside wild fennel, this is one of our most fan clubbed cordials.

When life gives you lemons….

We made a small batch of PEPE from the lemons given to us by our lovely neighbours Deb and Mick. You haven’t seen Pepe for a while so make the most of it whilst it is on the shelf at Store. Lemons, grapefruit and a sprinkle of salt it is one of our long time favourites, born of a quirky soda had in NYC an even longer time ago.

We’ve a cheeky small batch coming up this week.

I think we will call her RUBY.

She is here to replace Frenchy for a wee while as Jack Frost stole our chances of pomegranate juice from Aril Estate this season.

Rhubarb from our friend Jodi and our own garden with a little oregano and fresh orange.

This will only be available at our local Mudgee cafes and restaurants where Hello Lovelies cordials are on the pour. A perfect Autumnal spritz me thinks when Ruby puts on the Ritz.

Fancy a little ‘wine’ down time with friends while we keep the kids occupied?

KIDS CHRISTMAS CORDIAL MAKING

Time to make some Christmas Cheer with Rebecca Sutton and Clementine Logan. A kids cooking class making cordial for either gifts or festive season drinking.

Sunday December 22, 11am - 1215pm

$55 per child. 7 to 11 year olds.

Includes morning tea/drink, recipe, a little kitchen chemistry, tag making, 2 x 700ml bottles of cordial to take home (orange and berry flavour). Our cordials contain fresh juice and no preservatives.

The best part is you get 1.25 hours to make the most of the opportunity to relax with a drink yourself at the cellar, catch-up with friends and stay on for a cheese plate and bubbles and buy your own Christmas cheer to take home (ie we look after the kids whilst you relax - Joy to the World!).

We thought it was time for a cheeky small batch of cordial thanks to our friend Sharnie sharing the fruit of her bountiful mulberry tree.

We have added Rosemary and Wild Fennel for the full palate experience, as is our way.

Any suggestions for a name for this one?

You will find it on a special festive release on the drinks menu at Alby and Esther’s and a few 200ml gift bottles when we release local Christmas pre -orders via .
