Happy Trails Early Learning centre is an excellent choice for parents seeking exceptional early learning. Happy trails ELC focuses on providing fun and enriching learning paths for all children, with an emergent curriculum inspired by the children, families and the local community. We are here to support families, develop positive relationships and deliver quality early learning to the Darwin community in a modern purpose-built establishment.

Happy Trails ELC currently has positions available for children in the 3 – 4 years age group and are interested in welcoming some new families to the growing HTELC community. Ready to start your career in Early Childhood? 👩‍🏫🧑🏽‍🏫

Whether you’ve recently left school, looking for a new career or returning to the workforce, our traineeship program will really set you up for a fun and rewarding new career.
As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced educators, learn on the job, and earn while you learn. You will attend a class one evening a week to complete your Certificate III, and work at our early learning service 30 hours a week so you will have time for Self-Study.

To give you the best start in your new career, the Early Childhood Traineeship Program includes being guided by a mentor from Happy Trails ELC and supported by a Rowe Training facilitator who will ensure you learn the theory and can apply it in your day-to-day work.
The Territory early childhood sector is growing, with career opportunities available across the Territory there’s no better time to join a sector that is in high demand with potential for career growth right here at Happy Trails ELC start with a CHC30121 Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care Traineeship go onto a CHC50121 Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to be a Group Leader and for those who want to go further complete a Batchelor in Early Childhood Education this leads to a role as an Early Childhood Teacher.

About you:
You don’t need experience in early childhood. Our Early Childhood Traineeship Program is for positive people who are reliable team players, who are committed to their new career and will put in the time to attend class and complete self-paced study.

Breezes Bar & Bistro will be serving delicious pub classics for lunch and dinner everyday and breakfast on the weekends. 👩🏻‍🍳

Debbie first started her journey with Colemans Hospitality Group in 2011 when she was hired as a cook at Shenannigans.

Few years later she had proven herself to be the key member of our team and took on the Head Chef position at The Bell Bar & Bistro.

Since then, she has impressed everyone with her knowledge off all aspects of hospitality business when she moved from kitchen to running The Landmark as a restaurant & duty manager.

“It’s been great to be part of the front of house team for a change but I’m looking forward to running a busy kitchen team again. Food is my passion, I can’t wait to show the Top End what we have to offer.”

Progress update! ⚒

Come and take a walk with Chami, the director of Happy Trails Early Learning Centre & see what we’ve been up to in the last few weeks!

Couple of HTELC facts:

✅ Happy Trails Early Learning Centre is a purpose built childcare centre with an age and developmentally appropriate program of high quality care and education.

👶👧🏽🧒🏼 we’ll have 6 classrooms & providing childcare to the children aged 6 months to 5 years

🍲 we’ll have a commercial kitchen designed to provide fresh nutritious meals daily. Menus will be devised and implemented by a qualified chef with 10 years experience in cooking for children

🪴 veggie garden for kids to learn gardening & take part of growing veggies and herbs
