Orchard Hand – Full Time
Quebec Citrus Pty Ltd- Mundubbera, Queensland
Quebec Citrus Pty Ltd is a family-owned citrus orchard located in Mundubbera, Queensland. We are seeking a reliable and motivated Orchard Hand to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and being part of a productive agricultural team.
About the Role:
As an Orchard Hand, you will assist with the day-to-day operations of the orchard, including:
• Irrigation installation, operation and monitoring
• Fertiliser and chemical application (training provided where required)
• Operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment- spray carts, slasher, mulcher, etc.
• General orchard maintenance and repairs
• W**d, pest and disease management
• Following workplace health and safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to achieve production targets
About You:
The successful applicant will have:
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors
• Reliability and punctuality
• The ability to work both independently and within a team
• A commitment to workplace safety
• A current driver's licence and means of getting to work
• Experience in horticulture, farming or agriculture (preferred but not essential)
Desirable Qualifications:
• Chemical Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
• Forklift Licence
• Tractor or machinery operating experience
• Irrigation experience
• HR License
