This was an exciting hatch! A heap of:

Speckled Sussex, 16/16 hatched
Wyandotte, 13/14 hatched
Black Mottled Belgian D'uccle, 9/10 hatched
Sebright (👀) 1/1 (that started developing 🙄)
And some pretty polish! 7/12

Super stoked on the Belgians, 17 year old would be proud of how far we've come with these guys. Every time they hatch they convince me that I could sell every other breed and colour, and focus only on the black mottled and still be very happy, so glad we're producing more black mottled than we are split mottled! Super bloody stoked 😍

What's cuter than two little grass goblins? Our little (almost) week old Chinese goslings enjoying the warmth today without their heat plate. Too hot anyways 🫠

Instant incubator filler! Ft: The Reason I Have Been Getting Less Eggs From The Sussex

I've just changed my mottled breeders around for the next part of the season and have a handful of eggs to be rid of from them. x10 mottled, x11 millefleur, x8 black and x10 blue eggs up for grabs, these guys have been laid since Wednesday arvo. Not quite enough to make full dozens but enough to sell as bulk 😁

Happy to let these guys go for *280 the lot*, if not I can break them down into smaller numbers.

Potential colours from these eggs are Black Mottled, Blue Mottled, Black/Blue Split Mottled, Black, Blue, Splash, Millefleur, Blue Millefleur, Porcelaine

Phew! What a busy couple of weeks its been, moved two lots of houses, organised paperwork for one of them, filled the incubator, emptied the incubator and filled it again. It has been crazy month and it just keeps going!

Thank you to everyone who has messaged the page, you might have seen me posting and commenting under my own name around the place but I haven't forgotten you all and I have been responding, albeit not as fast as either yourself or myself would like! But now that were a bit more settled we should resume our usual scheduled mayhem.

We still have eggs, chicks and cockerels (and eventually pullets) available so don't forget to shoot us a message, and here is a photo dump from a few things we have had going on lately 😍

Always amazes me how sturdy bigger fowl are as day olds. We have had these two turkey poults hatch recently and decided to have them with us while we stood around chatting. They loved the grass!

Can't wait to see what colours they turn into, this is our first season hatching turkeys 😍

Loving the munchkins hatching out at the moment, so many little faces popping out left right and centre! My phone camera died almost immediately after taking these photos, hence the blurry pics 🤣

Now that we're settled in, brooders will be fuller and our seasonal planning is on a roll. Won't be long till we're overrun with all sorts for the new season 😍😍

Been very busy lately, we're moving house! Lucky us, it's been very stressful lately organising everything. Always good to take a step back and watch these guys be chickens to help me unwind.

Loving the way some of these late bred pullets are looking, there's a blend of pekin, d'uccle and Danvers in these photos. Not good ones of the Belgians obviously but still cute nonetheless 🤣🤣

I'll probably be quiet for a couple of weeks, incubator is pretty empty at this stage while we sort everything out. I've still got eggs available, and still posting every Monday at this stage so get in quick before I get into the full swing this season 😍

Alright, I should probably advertise these before I keep them all! Not opposed to it, but definitely should thin some numbers out 🤣🤣

I have red laced wyandotte, speckled sussex and a billion of my little popcorn belgian d'uccle (not pictured, they're like little soot sprites next to these giants).

Incubators full again, I have a dozen wyandotte (now seperated into two pens 😌), a dozen buff Columbian and an assorted dozen of our black/blue/splash, black and black mottled eggs.

Posted out tomorrow morning if needing postage, 30$ Australia wide.

75$ for the wyandotte - SOLD

85$ for the buff Columbian Belgians, and

100$ for the assorted dozen - SOLD
