For one night only, Shaw Estate welcomes Firedoor to Murrumbateman.

This September, experience one of Australia's most celebrated dining destinations as Lennox Hastie, Chef and Owner of Firedoor, brings his signature approach to cooking with fire to Shaw Estate for an extraordinary collaboration.

Known as Australia's first fully wood-fuelled restaurant and recognised internationally through Chef's Table, Somebody Feed Phil and Ugly Delicious, Firedoor will present a Canberra-first, five-course wood-fired dinner celebrating exceptional produce, fire and seasonality.

Presented in partnership with Lark Whisky, guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail on arrival, with a curated Lark Whisky menu available to purchase throughout the evening.

For those wanting to go a little deeper, An Afternoon with Lennox Hastie offers an intimate experience before dinner. Limited to just 18 guests, spend an hour with Lennox as he shares the philosophy and techniques behind one of Australia's first and most distinctive fire-led dining experiences, while enjoying three Firedoor snacks, including Firedoor's world-famous dry-aged beef, each expertly paired with a drink.

Join us at Shaw Estate for an intimate and inspiring day with celebrated stylist Steve Cordony, alongside Amanda Cordony of The Cordony Kitchen.

Designed as a relaxed, immersive experience, this masterclass invites you into Steve’s world of styling and entertaining, from creating table settings with intention and ease to sharing thoughtful conversation over a long lunch on the lawns.

The afternoon unfolds into a hands-on dessert experience led by Amanda, with Steve co-hosting as guests are guided through one of Amanda’s signature recipes, inviting guests to get involved and share in the experience.

Each guest will take home a bottle of Shaw Estate wine and a copy of Steve Cordony’s book Moments at Home.
