“I jumped at the opportunity to brew this beer, with a couple of new hops I hadn’t tried before. Dolcita and Manilita came through with some soft coconut and tropical citrus. That, with a cool ferment and some beautiful local pilsner malt, made the beer ridiculously drinkable. Cali IPA for me is in the same wheelhouse as cold IPA, balancing that lean body with refreshing hop character and, importantly, firm bitterness. I absolutely love it!”

Reverb drops this Friday and we're not letting it land quietly!

With spring around the corner, Reverb hangs up the raincoat, reaches for the Birks and leans into the sunny patch between the clouds. A crisp Cali IPA — light gold, bright clarity, malt kept well in the background. New US hop Dolcita and even-newer Kiwi Manilita do the big work: pine needle and sweet pineapple on the nose, a resinous wave of gummy fruit lolly and piña colada through the middle, then grapefruit skin and a sharp, clean bitter finish.

So we're giving it a proper opening at the .

Nastasha Muhl the talented artist behind our recent Redliner release!

Natasha Muhl has been working as a professional artist and graphic designer for over 15 years. One of her favourite things about being an artist is seeing a project grow from a tiny seed to a fully realised piece, never really knowing what its going to be until the end.

“This artwork grew from a quiet daydream and now it echoes the rusty tones of the redliner beer. It’s part folklore, part faded memory and straddles the line between familiar and strange.”

Since 2019, a cut of every Otherside beer gets poured into Tapped by Otherside — our fund for backing WA's creative community through pop-up festivals, grants, sponsorships, art, live music, and other creative initiatives.

Today we announce a new partnership to once again grow our support of the Western Australian music scene: a new partnership with to support travel for emerging WA artists.

The program will fly two regional bands to Perth for WA Music Week this August — three days of industry development at .social plus a set at the WAM Regional Showcase at . Then it'll help send the 2026 WAM Showcase artists to BIGSOUND in Brisbane.

Talent isn't the barrier for WA artists. But distance can be. This fund tries to shrink that distance.

Thanks to everyone who loves a tin of Otherside and helps us do good. 🖤

Redliner Red IPA is pouring now - and this one belongs to Brewer Baptiste.

His first time running point with us on a brew, from start to finish. There was a moment midway he wasn't all that sure it'd come out red at all, but with a little patience, this one came out great - deep copper, caramel and toffee malt, resin and pine on the nose, and a firm, balanced finish.

He's so happy with it, he's even sending some home to his family in France!
