Evening meal in our apartment in Central Colmar.

With the sounds of revelry from the neighbouring restaurant, Floury, we tuck into cheeses, rabbit terrine with foie gras, herbs and fruit, cornichons, with Karcher Cremant Rose and Jean Ginglinger 2016 Pfaffenheim Gewurtztraminer. Followed by strawberries on Creme Fraiche.

The year moves on. Few days of sun leaves the vinerows less sodden. And Daylight Saving Time lets me complete half a fungicide spray in finishing at 7.45 pm. Fading light but comfortable working.

Spring here at last. Some movement in the vines. Having mowed the vineyard we move next to protective sprays against fungal disease. The start of the next vintage!!

Following delays due to the reno and hand injury spent today taking off most of the remaining nets. Slow process as they catch on anything - posts, canes, any knobbly part of the vine... Start to see the vineyard properly again, ready for commencing pruning in about a month.
