Our incoming new apprentice! Mia has been with us for a couple of years, trying her hand across a variety of roles in the kitchen. Rewardingly for us, she’s decided she’s keen for more, signing up for the longer term as one of our apprentice chefs!

If you’ve been in lately you may have noticed the new self-ordering QR codes on each table (so now you can choose how you wish to order… We will continue to have our staff at the front counter if you prefer the face-to-face approach!). We’ve been finessing the system and ironing out the glitches before making our big high-tech announcement (!).

Our staff had to provide every single item on the menu and on our shelves to the photographer to accompany each digital offering.

Loving this camera set-up by MenuShots. Every home should have one! 😁

Now THIS was a big order… And only for 1!

This free, creative community hub happened prior to the holidays, and has resumed every Wednesday morning between 10am and 12pm in our Overflow Shed.

Hosted by the Inner Artist Collective, it’s an opportunity to get those creative juices flowing and share a morning with others. Refreshments available in our cafe / bakery. Your backdrop = our view!

Meanwhile the butchery has been quietly operating at full capacity, keeping the whole operation well stocked across the butchery, bakery and cafe.

Don’t miss their house-smoked goodies, a flavour unto themselves!

No better way than greet the day with a smile (thanks Emma!) and a treat. See you soon!

And just like that, the school holiday rush is over! (Sensing some relief from our staff…Just a guess!).

To all who stopped in, thankyou for coming!

Butter, as we at home don’t see it! There are so many “layers” to making good croissant pastry. Even having cold hands is important to prevent the butter from melting into the dough while being worked!

We’re 4!! What a ride it is. A massive thanks first and foremost to our staff who show up every day, open-minded, smiling and dedicated to making The Artisan Farmer a place people want to come to. A huge thank you also to our customers, whose loyalty and support we will continue to strive to be worthy of. Finally, to our suppliers, we thank you for your quality produce and commitment to service delivery - through rain, hail, fire, floods, drought and sunshine (!).

All the best to you all, have a wonderful day!

Come on over and learn how to create an ancient Asian artform dating back 2000 years!

Bonsai trees combine nature with living art by turning trees into living sculptures. Bonsai master Mason Keane is hosting a workshop here on October 20 to share this relaxing skill with you and send you home with your own - potentially creating a new family heirloom for years to come!

Details and bookings are via their website below. Cup of coffee and Bonsai are included!
