It’s has been a BIG journey to get here and we continue to stay the course, focus on where we are going and get up and do it all again.

Starting a food truck has humbled me incredibly.

I thought it would be easy because I’m the manifesting Queen and have God on my side.

God has reminded me that we don’t grow and learn when we win instantly.

Gosh, we don’t face ourselves when you can breathe freely, work well and things come easily.

You can certainly get to those points in life, and that is absolutely my goal.

However, the humbling happens, the wings expand and grow through busting through the chrysalis all on your own.

Thankfully, hubby to be and I have chose to do this together, even though I was building this initially as I didn’t want to work for someone else again.

We have faced challenges after challenge:
☑️ launched 4+ months later than expected
☑️ had to cancel our first 5 events due to not getting our trailer when expected, once it had arrived in Brisbane
☑️ not being able to run both machines as they don’t produce ventilation to form when side by side, even though that’s what we were sold
☑️ breaking the machine as we learned about consistency, cleaning mid service and hose leaks
☑️ launching in the cold months (and getting colder)
☑️ tech issues after tech issues (including multiple payment systems not working first event)
☑️ perfectionism interfering with sleep
☑️ kids fighting while you’re trying to set up
☑️ ordering too much… of EVERYTHING (and maxing credit cards)
☑️ having TOO MUCH stuff that we just don’t need and won’t use
☑️ testing stock that doesn’t sell well and basically throwing money away
☑️ giving too much away as we learn
☑️ late nights, early mornings, cancelling work (guaranteed money) and big hours sometimes to just cover wages, while we continue to not get paid
☑️ being overcharged some events
☑️ learning about our power output and how much we need to run (aka needing a BIG a*5 generator = $5000+ to buy or $170+ to hire for the weekend)
☑️ water leaks from the roof, exposed wires and all the fun stuff that comes with buying from China

If you see our mini SM crew around at our events - our little humans wearing our crew shirts,

Please know…

We are teaching our kids;
✅ the importance of working for what you want
✅ the value of money
✅ the difference between exchanging time for money vs working for ourselves
✅ working together and building community
✅ the gift of exchange
✅ not everything goes to plan - building resilience
✅ to save for what you want (we are planning our first overseas holidays together - Japan & a cruise)!

Although our first event with the little ones was one of the most stressful events so far (with buckets of rain, leakages from the roof and machine), thankfully big brother Jake came for a visit (and provided a well needed pep talk).

Our family is our WHY and teaching them how to be empowered as adults is super important to us 🙌

Who would have imagined buying a food truck from China would have been sooooooo easy.

Machines work perfectly, and can have all of them working exactly as they were built into the van to work.

All the electrics are wired clean and safely, with no exposed wires.

There are no holes or gaps into the van from where the wires go in so when it rains it’s perfectly safe and there isn’t water dripping from the power point sockets.

The machines hoses inside are fitted perfectly so they don’t come off mid service or post service when they need to be cleaned.

Not to mention how easy the van was to put together without a crane and awesome friends.

Oh and the plumbing is A grade and fits Australian stock easily.

Did I mention that all of the machines, if we use them all as it was built to, will definitely not short circuit the board that it was built with too.

Want to buy a food truck from China - the best decision ever 🫠

Buy a food truck from China - she said.

It will be great - she said.

This is our WHY…

Our beautiful little family expanded last year into what we have built this year and beyond.

It’s these moments that gets us through roof leaks, power surges, machine breaks, hose leaks, and really hard, messy days.

We are super early in this game and it is humbling us, challenging us and pushing us to near break…

Though it’s these beautiful faces that look back at us in the van, that remind us why we are doing it.

And yesterday, the big kids came to support us while we had the little kids.

Which was a blessing because yesterday was up there as one of the hardest days we have had in business yet.

The hose inside the machine started leaking at the start of service, a whole bucket of product wasted, rain and an overcharged event where we didn’t even break even = ducks on the water.

Calm above the water while paddling hard below it.

Plus add in fighting kids, a perimanopausal Mimski and a tired daddy who had been up for normal work at 4 and the hose breaking again, twice, when we got home to clean the machine ready for today’s service…

Breaking point came and we had to cancel our event today - our first event since launching that we have had to cancel as we don’t have a running machine 😭

*Keep remembering our why*

*Keep pushing on*

For as challenging and as much as the pendulum swings one way, it must also swing the other way.

Holding on for those moments.

We don’t only love the flavour of the snowflake dessert…

Though it’s so awesome to watch being made too!

What is it?

Shaved flavouring.

Is it a snow cone!

Definitely not. By the end of the your snow cone you are left with ice and no flavour.

With our snowflake dessert you are left with sweet, creamy, icy goodness the whole way through!

Made it even better - load it with toppings!

11/06/2026

It’s the toppings that take your dessert experience to a whole next level!

Original frozen yoghurt with fresh cut strawberries, gummy bears, strawberry popping pearls and chocolate fudge sauce.

Someone please grab me a tissue so I can wipe my mouth! 🤤

Come find us this weekend at Mela Carnival Kuraby Saturday 10-8pm and Sunday at Bardon Markets 7-12pm.

How’s this gorgeous little one - B having the best time, (and taking a break from selling raffle tickets) last night while we were serving at Jimboomba Thunder Junior Rugby Club.
