A week ago today we closed the chapter on stud breeding with the dispersal sale of our female herd. It was a day of very mixed emotions, but we couldn’t be more appreciative of the wonderful support we received from all corners of the country.

Overall we saw:
91/94 cow and calf units sold to a top of $24,000 to Jarrah Genetics for an average of $6,654.
44/44 PTIC heifers sold to a top of $13,000 again to Jarrah Genetics for an average of $4,851.
4/4 stud sires sold to a top of $30,000 to wasonpastoralcoptyltd for an average of $18,125.

Sale & Inspections:
• 180 lots including; PTIC cows with calves at foot, PTIC heifers, stud sires & semen packages.
• Wednesday 24th September: Inspections from 9am, sale commences 12pm
• Tuesday 23rd September: Pre-sale inspection from 2pm, followed by Drinks & Nibbles from 5pm to celebrate 68 years of breeding.

Huge congratulations to the Stevens Family, Emma Godbolt, and EJS Herefords! EJS Herefords Lilly V4382 took home Intermediate Champion at the National Youth Expo — and didn’t stop there, also winning the Bred and Owned category.
