Getting some hard earned acknowledgement!
THIS is the future of regional retail. 👏
Local products. Local makers. Local relationships.
Primalista Michelle Parker recently wrote a brilliant article for Inside Small Business about the rise of micro-manufacturing in regional Australia, drawing on her own experience running her Primal Alternative business in Narrogin, WA.
And this line really stood out:
“The retailers who thrive won’t be those with the longest supply chains, but those with the deepest local roots.”
Michelle isn’t just talking about it either. She’s doing it.
She’s producing grain-free food locally and building relationships with independent retailers across the WA Wheatbelt and Southwest, helping make great grain-free options available in communities where they can otherwise be pretty hard to find.
And she’s not alone.
Our Primalistas are producing incredible grain-free food in communities across Australia, creating an opportunity for independent retailers to stock something genuinely local, made by someone who lives and works in their community.
As Michelle says in her article, it creates a beautiful local-support loop: retailers support local makers, local makers support the local economy, and the community supports both.
