From Orange to the world stage, we’re thrilled to share that Printhie Wines has been recognised at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2026, earning a Platinum Medal for our Swift 2011 Blanc de Blancs and a Gold Medal for our Swift 2017 Vintage Rosé.

Only 16 Platinum Medals were awarded globally in the sparkling/champagne class and a small family business in Orange received one of them.

The accolades continued with Silver Medals awarded to our Topography Chardonnay and Pinot Gris.

To receive recognition on this international stage is particularly meaningful. The Decanter World Wine Awards attracted 17,000 entries from 58 countries and is blind tasted by some of the wine world’s most respected experts, including Masters of Wine and Master Sommeliers.

These results are a testament to the dedication of our vineyard team (Dave Swift and Greg Hayman) and our winemakers (Drew Tuckwell and Viv Wheaton) and reinforce our belief that the cool-climate vineyards of Orange are world-class.

The Swift 2011 Blanc de Blancs is available to purchase via the link in bio 🥂

It’s not everyday you get to sit at a table with such a diverse and inspiring group of women doing amazing things in regional Australia. This was the vision of Edwina Bartholomew and The Australian Women’s Weekly to bring together and acknowledge what women are achieving in often challenging circumstances across the country.

Stories of connection, adversity, optimism and hope were shared but what shone through the most was our love of country living. There was collective acknowledgement that we’re so lucky and grateful that we can run businesses and pursue dreams in regional settings, something that we take for granted but was not an option for previous generations. Perhaps most importantly it was the sense of support and the quiet championing for one another that goes on behind the scenes.

Thank you for hosting us Emma The Little Big Dairy Co. and so lovely to spend time with you all:

We’re proud to again be partnering with the this season and supporting one of Australia’s leading women’s sporting teams.

This Sunday, we’ll be at the game hosting a special Printhie Wines tasting experience for fans, celebrating great wine, great sport and an incredible team culture.

At Printhie Wines we believe partnerships like this matter which is why we’ve been a wine partner since 2008. We hope our support of the NSW Swifts contributes in some small way to the continued growth, visibility and opportunity for women in sport.

We can’t wait for Sunday. Go Swifts 💙❤️

What a night we had discovering the flavours of native food with Sharon Winsor

The menu included oysters with green ants, smoked kangaroo, crocodile with river mint, emu with muntries, davidson plum sorbet, bunya ice cream with quandongs.

Our team loved discovering the versatility and history of these flavours.

We felt very privileged to have Sharon share her story and her heritage with us. This dinner was two years in making and we thank all our guests for joining us for this special occasion.

We celebrated another great vintage harvest lunch on the weekend for Due to crazy weather in Orange (literally snow and sleet) on Friday we moved the long lunch to the Cellar Door and what a day it was. We love this event because of the truly amazing people who come each year. It’s a moment to reflect on the grape harvest but also all things local. Each dish featured ingredients from our kitchen garden and we also had amazing figs, pears and apples from just down the road. All the dahlias were from the kitchen garden as well. Thank you to everyone who came, we loved having you all and celebrating all things local.
