It is so pleasing to see swans nesting on all three of our Floating Wetland sites on Melbourne's Birrarung (Yarra) River. The floating wetlands provide a safe haven from predators for the swans, and a source of joy and connectivity with the river and nature for local residents (of the non-feathered kind)!

Docklanders continue to enjoy a front-row seat to observe native wildlife returning to the heart of Melbourne, with more swan nesting sites, cygnets, and unhatched eggs being discovered on new floating wetlands.
