Owners of Fresh Meals Delivered, Lisa and Anton have long admired the work of, Survivors R Us, a local organisation dedicated to supporting community members who are experiencing homelessness or escaping domestic violence.

Today we were proud to donate 80 meals to help those who need it most.

Survivors R Us provide so much more than emergency support. From food relief, training and counselling to household essentials and even access to basic necessities like safe toileting facilities, the team are there to help provide access to these resources and support their community.

Thank you to Kristie and Scott and the team at Survivors R Us, as well as local Mayor Adam Schultz for the work that they do.

We are looking forward to being back soon with more of our meals and seeing the growing hub to support more of our locals who need help.

It has been incredibly special for our team to give back and support patients of The Hunter Breast Cancer Foundation. Emma’s Story lays particularly close to our heart. After Co Owner of Fresh Meals Delivered, was diagnosed with cancer a couple of months after her second daughter was born.

We know that it is in times like these that small contributions of support and help mean the most.

Our weekly donation of a box of meals has been a special way to show our support and care during this time whilst showing our absolute admiration of the brilliant work that all the team and volunteers do to help our community.
