had never tried Gin before tonight - but I shall be trying it again.

These awesome flavoured tonic mixers from are the bomb. A must have for your restaurant, bar, pub, club or bottle shop.

Really impressed and made first experience of trying Gin so much more enjoyable.

Two chefs are invited from Sydney to take on two local chefs from Newcastle/Hunter Valley in a ‘cook off’.

The coolest part of the event - which is worked in conjunction with - is that the event is not only to celebrate the creations of these fine chefs - but they work with some of the best up and coming apprentice chefs within the region. It’s a great experience for these kids who will one day - become the next breed of talent cooking at your favourite restaurants…

The food service industry is such a great community to work within…

On one of the local FB chef pages - a small business was expanding their home made nutritional meals business into Newcastle - and didn’t quite know where to start…

reached out to offer support - and the areas of her business that we might be able to help her with.

And then… very unexpectedly, her post received comments from chefs and business owners that I’ve worked with in the past - and some that I still work with to this very day - encouraging the business owner to have a look at range and services.

This is what it’s all about for me… the fact that these customers have enjoyed the experience of working with our family owned business - and the service provided not only from me - but all departments of our business (customer service, night packers, truck drivers etc) - we all work for the common goal of exceeding customer expectations… and to receive comments like this - truly meant a lot to me…

I’ve (poorly 😆) scribbled over their names as to not embarrass them - but they know who they are - and I really appreciate those kind words, our friendships and I seriously love you guys for doing something like this - it really made my day and it’s acknowledgement (for me) to to know that the service that I/we offer is working and it’s appreciated… so THANK YOU 🙏 ❤️

So there you have it folks… has hit the 4-0 mark! Thanks for everyone’s kind messages, phone calls, hugs etc etc today from supplier friends, customer friends, work friends (aka Legends!), and most importantly, my family and friends…

I’ve truly had an awesome day and I appreciate each and everyone one of you for reaching out to make this day so special…

This photo keeps popping up in my memories… for 4 years now - and will continue to share this day - proving how big an impact moving over to has had on me as a person - during a really tough year for me personally… 4 years ago today was the first meeting with the owners (and my future family) - I started 3 days later. Moving to The Provedores allowed me to think big, do big - and believe that anything (within reason 😉) is possible… just like I use too.

Will always be grateful for the invite to meet up - and to be given the opportunity to do what I do… 💋

found himself on the truck today doing deliveries with which was great fun to mix things up.

We went to one of our customers super early where only the cleaners were onsite. We proceeded to put his products away in the proper areas - before letting him 👨‍🍳 know that we were there… a bit like Santa Claus I suppose…
