What a finish to the A Grade Women’s Hockey grand final!
Newdegate have claimed the premiership after a thrilling 5-2 victory over Gnowangerup in a game that went right down to the wire.
The scores were locked at 2-2 when the final siren sounded, sending the game into overtime. With short corners at both ends failing to break the deadlock, the premiership came down to one-on-one golden goals.
Newdegate found their breakthrough, scoring three more goals to seal a dramatic 5-2 victory and take home the premiership!
Danielle Smith from Gnowangerup was named best on ground.
