Last Sunday we had the pleasure of hosting and Frederic from and for a day workshop

It ended up being a lot more emotional than we anticipated!
Like many other JM played a big roll in the start of our farming career and it was so beautiful to get to meet him and chat, laugh and walk the farm together. Above all, it was incredible seeing how us as small scale growers can so easily connect and understand each other
We have some big work ahead of us together to make our mark on the good food movement, and looking forward to doing this alongside you all

Thank you to all of you who came and for your amazing energy and work.
Thank you to our unbelievable team for running the best event EVER!
And thank you and Frederic for being such gentlemen.
Can’t wait to see you again down the track

Our first spring farming as a family
And boy oh boy is it wonderful, joyous…but not easy 😅
Learning to let go and simply play on the grass even when the TDL is long, is harder than it sounds and even a bit stressful

It’s a new era for us, thinking about how to grow a healthy and happy family alongside a strong and stable business.
How do we learn to slow down when we have been go go go for so many years?

It’s a big one..will keep you posted on how it goes ❤️

Each season, we plant a small garden, 6 or so garden beds, just for our family . In the evenings you’ll often find us harvesting fresh corn, sweet watermelon and ripe tomatoes. It’s a small garden, which we tend to after hours, and grow things we love to eat, but don’t always offer commercially.

Come join us for our Home Harvest workshop - And harvest armloads of vegetables this coming season!

COMMENT “Fun crops” for the list of our home garden personal favourites
