The classic chef knife is the one you reach for first.

A big part of making knives for cooking is how they feel in your hand - I’m after a feeling that it belongs, not something you need to wrestle with, after all cooking should be something you enjoy ( if you love food that is ) and if I’m honest I’m not a huge knife nerd , I care less about the technical details of knives and care more about how it feels to use.

The inspiration behind the classic slicer - a thick rib eye cooked over fire. It just wouldn’t be right to slice this up with a soulless mass produced off the shelf kitchen knife , there’s just something about the solid weighty feel of a hand made for purpose knife that makes the experience so much better, obviously it’s one of those things that if you know , you know and I’m also biased, but still it just feels right.

For the month of June you can get the stainless slicer with a free paring knife to go with it - perfect for peeling the potatoes to go with the steak.
