"Penfolds catered our wedding recently, and the food and service were absolutely impeccable. We opted for canapés followed by the shared feasting menu, and our guests have had nothing but amazing things to say about how delicious the food was. Thankfully, there was plenty to go around and we were even lucky enough to have some leftovers to enjoy afterwards.

We used Dan Murphy’s alcohol service for our wedding, but Penfolds were still able to work with us to offer cocktails of our choice, which we really appreciated.

Rebecca and the entire team were so easy to deal with throughout the process, and everything on the day was beautifully presented and seamlessly executed.

We couldn’t recommend Penfolds highly enough. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our wedding day!"

Just a little note regarding a feasting-style menu for your wedding.

As your selected dishes will be served generously to the centre of the tables for guests to share, we recommend keeping flowers, candles and table decorations fairly minimal.

Our team will need plenty of clear table space to safely place the feasting platters, salads and sides, while still allowing your guests to comfortably serve themselves and enjoy the experience.

You can absolutely still create a beautiful table — we just suggest choosing smaller floral arrangements and minimal décor, rather than large centrepieces or lots of items through the middle of the table.

This will ensure your tables look beautiful while allowing the food to become part of the overall styling and really shine. ✨️

Offsite Catering — It’s Not for the Faint-Hearted! 🔥👨‍🍳

People see the finished product — beautiful food, perfectly set tables and smiling guests.

What they don’t see is everything that happens before the first plate hits the table.

Offsite catering means packing an entire kitchen, loading vans, travelling to venues, unloading, building a kitchen from scratch, working with whatever space we’re given, cooking restaurant-quality food for hundreds of guests… and then packing the whole thing back up again at the end of the night. 😮

Sometimes we're cooking in a beautiful commercial kitchen. Other times it's a marquee, shed, garage or paddock!

It’s long hours. It’s heavy lifting. It’s hot kitchens. It’s problem solving on the fly. And it takes an incredible team to make it all look effortless.

But when the food goes out, the guests are happy and we see an event come together — that’s why we do it.

A massive shoutout to our Penfolds crew who work incredibly hard behind the scenes at every event. 🤍

A must read ....
"Penfolds recently catered our wedding and the food was sensational!
Finger foods for cocktail hour and a buffet dinner, everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavour.
The serving and bar staff were all so friendly and helpful. I also praise them for being so wonderful with my mum who has a gluten dietary requirement, I had chosen specific dishes I knew she could eat and just let her know which ones she could and couldn’t have. However the Penfolds team went above and beyond to give her her own tasting plate during cocktail hour, and then for dinner she was even made her very own gluten free chicken schnitzel!
Bec was amazing with answering all of our questions leading up to the big day as well, and helped with deciding cocktail recipes and drink quantities.
We can’t thank you and your team enough for your outstanding service for our big day, we would highly recommend the Penfolds team! - Chelsea & Mark
