The Armagh is a firmly encrusted gem in the crown of Australian Syrah. From only 3 rows of a small site planted in 1968 by Jim himself, to the 2023 vintage, where it's stewarded through extensive time in mostly new French oak by the third generation of the Barry family.

This is a precious vintage of an already incredibly sought-after release from Clare Valley icons **es -- probably too precious to be chucking around for a photo. Such a fantastic opportunity but blink and you will miss this one.

🐬The Hunt for Red Hoptober -- 6.5% Red IPA🐬

Thanks to for both this lovely little early-spring seasonal and a stellar justification for turning Ryan into Sean Connery.

Bright ruby malt characters undergirding citrus-y hop notes, at a very stealthy 6.5% -- not quite nuclear-powered, but she packs the perfect payload of body and bitterness.

A limited amount of these are ready to defect to your fridge. In fact, your fearless ginger Captain commands it ⚓

Shining our spotlight on a local producer doing bigtime global stuff this week 💡

Geraldton locals 30 KNOTS have just taken home a very prestigious gong: Best New Gin at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, awarded to their fantastic Sea Spray Navy Strength Gin.

These guys have taken out awards for their unique packaging -- unsurprising, we love the lighthouse bottles -- but you'll have to go a long way to find a better endorsement of what's actually inside.

Big congrats to Kelly and Murray Killen and the whole crew at 30 Knots! If you want to try the world be**er or any of their beautiful spirits, we've got em 🥃 ❤️

Being dads ***, we're often asked "what would we want to get on father's day?" So we decided to pick out some of our faves recently that we would like to receive on Sunday

Steve has picked the deVine mixed craft b**r packs. A pick of what the local craft scene is offering at the moment. Perfect for the craft curious or hop veteran dad!

Dom has gone for the Campagnola cork screw. For dads that want the prescion of a bicycle to open their w**es 🍷🚲

Ross has picked the Fervor "No Royalty" Shiraz. A perfect pick to give a dad who loves w**e, or to serve with the dinner you've cooked for your dad 🍷🍔🍗

Andy has picked the Pluto Organic Rum. Messing with the norm, he thinks you should give your father rum instead of wh***ey, and this one, we'd agree with him 🥃🍹

While Liam isn't a father, he's slipped himself in to recommend b**r they specifically made for this occassion.

Piling on to the Ed Carr bandwagon to congratulate him and House of Arras on their top Halliday gong this year. Ed is the reason for a lot of what's good about Aussie sparkling w**e, and has blazed a trail that's led him to being named as the Best Sparkling W**emaker at the International W**e Challenge -- no mean feat, let alone if your name doesn't sound French. This latter domestic recognition as Australia's best producer for the 2027 companion is richly and unarguably deserved.

Arras is based in Pipers River, Tasmania, and produces distinctly Tassie w**es. Extended time on lees gives richness and complexity, yes -- but these are w**es of drive, purpose, and exacting, spirit-level-perfect precision. We'd expect no less.

We're lucky enough to have a small allocation of these exquisite sparkling w**es in stock for the time being. Be quick here though 🥂
