Merry Christmas from our family and table to yours 🤍

Christmas Eve for us is all about gathering, sharing, and taking time over food made with care.

This year’s table looked a little like this:

Entrées
• Brandade de morue
• Kingfish vanilla ceviche
• Seafood gratin with caramelised apple
• Cured salmon with soy & dill sauce
• Tarte tatin with confit eggplant & confit tomato

Main
• 12-hour lamb shoulder
• Green beans with macadamia
• Brie gratin dauphinoise

Desserts
• Trocadero log (three-chocolate mousse)
• Chocolate buttercream log
• Parthenon log (raspberry & vanilla)
• Hazelnut buttercream log

I hope today, Christmas Day, has been filled with good food, full hearts, and the people you love most — and that you’ve all been spoiled in time, attention, and something delicious on the table.

What’s on your dinner plate tonight?
We’re having croque monsieur with some green salad with a couple extras - all whilst watching home alone! I loved it but I think it was bit rich for the non French adults in the house whose blood isn’t made up of butter and cheese😂

Sunday family treat 🍳🥞
A pancake morning — made easy with my Seg’s Kitchen pancake base, made with green banana flour for that extra bit of natural goodness.
Topped with my chocolate date caramel and a quick homemade whipped cream (ready in under 3 minutes!) — so simple and so good.
Cooking them on the BBQ means you can make heaps at once, and the mini ones freeze beautifully for quick kid snacks during the week. 💛
