Normanton Foodworks has a position available for Assistant Manager.

📝 ABOUT THE POSITION
Assistant Managers work collaboratively to assist and support the Store Manager in achieving operational objectives and sales targets. The position plays a critical role in applying business management systems and maintaining records to meet business compliance requirements while leading and supervising staff across the breadth of Normanton FoodWorks operations.

📝 ABOUT YOU
To be considered for this position you will be able to demonstrate the following:
✅ Demonstrated ability to administrate, plan, control and coordinate the day-to-day operations of a retail store to meet sales projections and profit targets.
✅ Demonstrated ability to multitask, set priorities and achieve goals.
✅Well-developed emotional intelligence and emotional resilience skills applied in staff mentoring, training and development settings.
✅Effective communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build rapport, influence and persuade staff to meet position responsibility.
✅Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, data bases and retail store procedures.
✅Sound knowledge of indigenous culture in remote communities and barriers to indigenous employment;
✅Proven knowledge of indigenous culture specific to the lower Gulf country and the clan and family groups contained within.
✅Open class manual licence.
