Fresh produce starts in late October with asparagus and rhubarb, quickly followed by strawberries and cherries in December. January is all about berries - Tayberries, Silvanberries, Youngberries, Marionberries, Boysenberries. The farms yields many food plants and these are for sale. Trentham East Farm Gate is a non-commercial operation and absolutely everything is done by hand on the farm according to organic principles. Come and meet the grower.
