Fiji community should be proud that we now have a 5-star café representing our food, culture, and flavours here in North Lakes.
I have stayed quiet for a long time, but now I feel I need to speak up. So many people like to put their 50 cents into my business without understanding what it takes to open and run something like this.
Opening a café is not easy. Opening a café in North Lakes, building it from the ground up, paying rent, staff, equipment, stock, bills, licences, and everything else — it takes a lot. I have already spent over a (quarter of a million dollars )into this business, and the expenses have not stopped.
I don’t want to be rude, but I also won’t let people disrespect my hard work. If something is not in your budget, that is okay. You are free to choose what works for you. But please don’t bring down a small business that is working hard every day to serve the community.
