Dr Zenzen 0.0% Alcohol Free Riesling is proof that taking the alcohol out doesn't mean taking all the fun with it!

Made in Germany, it is fresh and bright with lemon, peach and a little floral lift, followed by crisp acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. It still tastes like Riesling, which sounds obvious, but anyone who has tried a few alcohol free w**es will know that is not always guaranteed.

A very easy option for anyone cutting back, driving home or simply wanting something decent in the glass without the alcohol.

Sundaylicious Vodka 700ml is Australian made, five times distilled and charcoal filtered, which is considerably more effort than most of us are willing to put into a Sunday.

The result is clean, smooth and soft, without that aggressive vodka burn that makes you wonder why you didn’t just order a b**r. It works beautifully with soda and lime, makes a very good espresso martini and is equally happy disappearing into whatever cocktail you have planned.

At 37% ABV, it is approachable, versatile and very easy to have sitting in the drinks cupboard for when the occasion calls for vodka. Which, as Sundaylicious would probably argue, could be any day of the week.

Rumbullion Spiced Rum is rich, warming and absolutely packed with flavour. Perfect for this crappy Melbourne day!

Made with Caribbean rum and loaded with Madagascan vanilla, orange peel, cinnamon, clove and cardamom, it is smooth, spicy and very comforting. There is plenty of sweetness, but enough citrus and spice to keep everything nicely balanced.

If you like your rum big on flavour, this one is very easy to recommend.

Tomatin Port Cask Matured 14 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Wh**ky is rich, smooth and beautifully easy to enjoy.

Matured in a combination of Bourbon barrels and Tawny Port casks, it has notes of red berries, honey and toffee, followed by soft fruit, gentle nuttiness and a long, smooth finish. The Port cask influence gives it that extra richness and sweetness without overpowering the classic Tomatin character.

A fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys a softer, fruitier style of Highland single malt with plenty of depth and character.

Montalto Estate Pinot Noir 2024 is a beautiful Mornington Peninsula Pinot and it is definitely one worth knowing about.

Bright cherry and raspberry lead the way, with savoury spice, gentle herbal notes and fine, silky tannins. Fresh, elegant and beautifully balanced, it has plenty of flavour without feeling heavy.

Château Fleur Cardinale Saint Émilion Grand Cru Classé 2018 is a seriously impressive w**e from an outstanding Bordeaux vintage. Rich and beautifully polished, it delivers layers of ripe blackberry, plum and dark cherry with hints of spice, cedar and chocolate, all wrapped in fine tannins and a long, elegant finish.
