Solar Eggs Farms is growing, and we’re looking for Poultry Farm Workers to join our team at Sandy Creek, Barossa Valley!
We have casual & full-time roles available, offering hands-on experience in egg production.

Our Brands:
Barossa Free Range, Gourmet Breakfast, Adelaide Eggs, Hens on the Range, and Omega 3 Eggs, supply over 1 million eggs weekly to supermarkets and specialty stores across South Australia.
About You:
🔷 Available to work 7am – 3pm or 10am – 6pm on a rotating 10-day roster across 14 days.
🔷 Local resident with your own accommodation.
🔷 Physically fit, able to lift 12kg and perform manual tasks safely
🔷 Able to follow instructions, procedures & adhere to biosecurity, animal welfare & hygiene standards.
🔷 Reliable, punctual, and positive team player.
🔷 High attention to detail & able to work in a fast-paced environment.
🔷 Holds a current unrestricted driver’s license with reliable transport.
Duties include:
🥚 Collect, sort, and pack eggs.
🥚 Monitor birds, sheds, yards, feed & water.
🥚 Load and unload eggs from pallets.
🥚 Assist with shed cleaning, maintenance & yard work.
🥚 Support flock rearing, including vaccinations if required.
🥚 Help with flock placement & depopulation when necessary.
