Yet over the past twenty years, Australia’s finest producers have quietly established themselves among the grape’s greatest interpreters, crafting w**es of complexity and longevity. W**es from regions such as Margaret River, Beechworth and the Yarra Valley now regularly stand shoulder-to-shoulder with great examples from Burgundy in comparative tastings – or do they?

Join us for an exceptional benchmarking tasting as we taste ten great Chardonnays from Australia, New Zealand and Burgundy in a fascinating exploration of terroir, w**emaking philosophy and regional expression. Featuring Australian icons Leeuwin Estate Art Series, Cullen ‘Kevin John’, Mount Mary and of course Giaconda. Valli has built an enviable reputation for crafting expressive, site-driven w**es from across Central Otago. This year, we are honoured to welcome Bernardo Manetti of Fontodi — one of the faces of Italy’s Next Generation, as featured on the cover of W**e Spectator.

A fifth-generation steward of one of Tuscany’s most storied estates, Bernardo carries with him the soul of Chianti Classico and a vision that is entirely his own.

An intimate evening with Clos Saouma at

Mounir and Rotem Saouma built their reputation through Lucien Le Moine in Burgundy before turning their meticulous, élevage-driven philosophy to the Southern Rhône. The result: Châteauneuf-du-Pape of rare finesse — w**es that favour texture and perfume over sheer power.
