FEEL GOOD FRIDAY | Cornett’s IGA Gordonvale 📍

IGA stores across Far North Queensland have proudly donated $10,000 worth of groceries to the 2026 Cardiac Challenge to help fuel 550 cyclists, volunteers, and supporters taking on the iconic Cairns to Cooktown ride from tomorrow until 21st September.🚲

Shout out to the team at Cornetts Supermarkets Gordonvale for facilitating the donation today which included 360 yogurts, 169 litres of milk, 15kg of butter, 25kg of ham, 30kg of bananas, and more! 🤩

The donation has helped reduce event costs so that more fundraising dollars can be directed to life-saving cardiac equipment and services for local patients in the region through the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation.

Good luck to all involved! ❤️

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures across Novar Gardens! 🤍

Family is at the absolute heart of everything we do here at Papa's IGA. Seeing three generations of Papatolis boys in the store reminds us of what matters most-passing down values, hard work, and lots of laughs along the way.

To all the local dads who work tirelessly, lend a helping hand, and keep our community thriving, today is for you. 👑

A new chapter begins for our local store... 🏡✨

First and foremost, we want to acknowledge and thank the previous team for their years of dedication and care for the Novar Gardens community. We know how much this store and its familiar faces have meant to the neighborhood. 🤝❤️

As ownership of this page transfers over, we wanted to officially introduce ourselves. We are Papa's IGA, a proudly independent, South Australian family business run by Dad (Nick) and brothers Daniel, Nicholas, and Christian. Since 2017, our focus has always been on family values, great customer service, and bringing the freshest quality to our communities.

We are thrilled to take the reins of this wonderful location and give it a beautiful, fresh clean. 🧼 ✨ The trucks have been unloading all day, and our team is working around the clock to get the shelves loaded and ready.

🎉 Doors officially open TOMORROW (Wednesday) at 8am! 🎉
