Our final load of oaten hay was carted home on Monday, with the evening finishing on a high note featuring a sensational sunset, visibly heightened by dust and numerous stubble burns in the region.

79mm rain at Koonik over the weekend. Trying to avoid being bogged while out feeding. Maybe best to head into the office.

Yesterday, we attended the Balmoral Sire Evaluation at Warooka and viewed the preliminary results of the 2025 drop.

We were impressed with our sire KDS224487's progeny, particularly given that this sire was born and reared as a triplet and has four sets of triplets in his group.

His progeny's breech traits are indeed shining, as expected from Dohne genetics.
