A fab food wine, our Sangiovese is a lighter-style red that chills beautifully on hot days—and as we head into winter it comes into its own. Blended Fields. A small batch blend of tempranillo, cinsault and shiraz from younger plantings across Greenock and Mengler Hill.

Fruit from each block was picked on the same day and co-fermented in open concrete, before spending 12 months in seasoned French oak for malolactic fermentation and maturation. Winemaking was kept deliberately hands-off to let the character of the fruit come through.

The decision to blend was driven by what we saw in the vineyard leading into harvest — tempranillo bringing spice and structure, cinsault adding freshness and lift, and shiraz rounding things out with a savoury edge.

The result is a juicy, spice-driven wine with just-ripe plum fruit, a fragrant lift and soft, savoury tannin through the finish.

Still available in limited quantities online and at the cellar door.
