CROWNED: SHIRAZ OF THE YEAR.

We're excited to have the newly released
2023 Jim Barry Armagh Shiraz from the iconic team Jim Barry. The 2023 receiving a cool 99 points and the title of Shiraz of the year from Halliday.

The 2023 vintage delivered one of the coolest growing seasons the Clare has seen in over 2 decades. This release has broken the mold. Mike Bennie from Halliday is calling it 'perhaps one of the most restrained and fine Armagh releases of all.'

Expect a incredibly elegant, fine- b***d powerhouse layering dark forest berries, dark cherry, and graphite minerality with seamless, silky tannis.
Drink now or a cellaring potential of 20-25 years.

Strictly limited numbers.
Any purchase of Armagh comes with special gift.

SPECIALS FROM THE CELLAR THIS WEEK:

Perrier-Jouët NV Grand Brut - Floral, fresh fruit, hints of brioche.

Founded in 1811 by newly-weds Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Rose-Adélaïde Jouët. Then in 1846 released the world's first Brut style ch*****ne. Cutting back on the suger at a time when the rest of the world was drinking sweet style sparking w**es.

Penfolds St Henri Shiraz (2017,2018,2019 vintages) - Black fruits, structured, savoury power.

Debuted back in 1957. While its siblings 389, 707, Grange are showcasing new oak influences. St Henri is aged compleatly without new oak. Spending all its time in large 50-70 year old oak vats.

Breaking away from traditional Scottish peat, they've used native Australian Stringybark timber to smoke 3 separate elements of this wh***ey: the grain, the casks, and even the water. The result is a powerhouse of camp-fire smoke, bonfire cinders, and smoked charcuterie meats.
